Quartz is said to bring the energy of the stars into the soul. Traditionally, the natural quartz crystal was said to both harmonize and align human energies–thoughts, consciousness, emotions–with the energies of the universe and to make these greater energies available to humanity. The natural tendency of quartz is for harmony, and it is recognized as a stone of power.
It is the connection between the physical dimension and the dimensions of the mind. It can be used to communicate with minerals, plants, animals, and intelligent forces outside of the physical dimension. The quartz crystal was believed to synchronize the individual and total consciousness with that of the heavens and the advanced life forms.
Quartz can create elated states of consciousness and can serve as a vehicle for both reaching and utilizing the talents and abilities of the mind. All of the psychic abilities can be stimulated and amplified by the use of this mineral. It assists in retaining calmness and clarity in all situations, decreasing the amount of negative affectation which could inhibit emotional stability. It provides for enhanced energy and promotes perseverance and patience.
This stone induces amplification of the energy field in the location in which it resides. The quartz crystal can produce a force field of healing negative ions while clearing the surrounding atmosphere of positive ions. It has also assisted to cancel the harmful effects of radiation and radioactivity. Wherever worn or carried, it acts as a physical and mental energizer; it also enhances and protects the aura and provides for amplification of the energy field of the body.
Whether the crystal is worn, carried, or places within one's environment, the force, the warmth, and the brilliance remain attuned to the energy of the one to whom it is connected.
This configuration is used for gazing to provide access to the sacred texts of the ancient ones, both from civilizations which no longer exist and from ones which continue to exist. By directing the mental focus to a period of time and/or appropriate location, on my access varying texts from varying ancient civilizations.
Seer stone quartz has also been used successfully for observing, examining, and distinguishing the aura of individuals and of groups, and of inanimate objects. The colors are presented–held in the hand of the individual and/or in the hands of groups, the aura is enhanced such that it becomes more visible to others.
It further stimulates the remembering of that which occurred prior to birth, and acts to refresh one's knowledge concerning the realm of after life.
